Scons




Ingredients:
  • 2 cups of flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 3 tb sugar
  • 1 tb baking powder
  • 6 tb chilled butter
  • 1 egg (beaten)
  • 1/2 cups of cream

Steps:
  1. Combine flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
  2. Use hands to mis in butter into dry mixture.
  3. Combine egg and cream mix into dry mixture.
  4. Knead 3 to 4 times.
  5. Cut out scons. 
  6. Top with cream and sugar.
  7. Bake 12 minutes.
  8. Oven 400'
